Enrollment is per class or camp session; no annual membership required. Classes are offered in a quarterly system (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). Private group classes require a minimum of 4 students: $65 for the first student, $30 for each additional student, with a minimum of 5 one-hour meetings. A material fee covers student manuals, curriculum development, a Communication Academy bag, and classroom supplies. FSA accounts are accepted by most parents. Founded by director Jackson Chow in 2001. Partners include Cupertino Recreation, Palo Alto Recreation, Los Gatos Recreation, Fremont Recreation, Milpitas Recreation, Dublin Recreation, San Mateo Recreation, Foster City Recreation, Burlingame Recreation, and several school districts.
