New York Toastmasters (NYTM)
Established in 1956, New York Toastmasters (NYTM) is one of NYC's oldest public speaking and leadership training clubs. Part of Toastmasters International, it holds hybrid meetings — 3 per month in person and 1 online — at 145 W 46th St in Midtown Manhattan. Meetings run 6:30–8:30 pm and are open to guests.

Membership is selective with an application process and waitlist. Prospective members must: (1) attend five meetings as a registered guest via Eventbrite, (2) contact the VP of Membership at audrey@nytoastmasters.org to be placed on the waitlist. Average wait time after joining the waitlist is 1–3 months. Toastmasters International dues are $60 per six-month period (renewed in April and October); a one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies. Club-specific dues may also apply. Membership is open to all with no restrictions.
