Shanghai People's Square Toastmasters Club

Shanghai People's Square Toastmasters Club (Club #585) is one of Shanghai's longest-established Toastmasters clubs, chartered in 2003 and part of District 85. It meets at 1st Floor, No.501 Jiujiang Road, Huangpu, near East Nanjing Road Station (Metro Line 2, Exit 4). The club is open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions, and supports both in-person and online attendance. Members develop public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through the Toastmasters Pathways program, regular prepared speeches, Table Topics, and peer evaluations.

Membership & sessions

Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (i.e. $120/year), paid on April 1 and October 1. New members also pay a one-time $25 USD new member fee. Individual club dues may apply in addition. Membership is open to all — no professional or educational prerequisites. Guests may attend meetings for free.
