Northern Stars Toastmasters Club

Northern Stars is Helsinki's only advanced Toastmasters club and the only advanced club in Finland. It is devoted to exploring and practising the most adapted communication and leadership techniques, with a particular strength in giving advanced feedback for improvement. The club holds debate sessions and focuses on mentoring. Meetings are hybrid: in-person at Central Library Oodi and simultaneously on Zoom. Guests are always welcome for free.

Membership & sessions

Advanced club — the only one in Finland. Membership requires holding the Toastmasters Competent Communicator (CC) title, having completed at least 8 out of 10 speeches from the CC manual, or having completed Pathways Level 2 or higher. Guests are always welcome to attend for free. Online attendance (Zoom) is allowed alongside in-person attendance at Oodi Library.
