Munich Prostmasters Toastmasters Club

Munich Prostmasters is a distinguished English-speaking Toastmasters club located in Munich, Germany. Part of Toastmasters International, it is a non-profit organisation chartered in March 1999 (Club #00009867) whose members share the common goal of becoming engaging communicators. Members learn to overcome the challenges and fears of public speaking and practise leadership skills through a proven, hands-on programme in a supportive atmosphere of encouragement and motivational feedback. The club is open to all — guests are always welcome.

Membership & sessions

Membership is open to all with no restrictions. New members pay a one-time joining fee of €24. Ongoing membership dues are paid semiannually (twice per year) via bank transfer to the club account; the exact semiannual amount is communicated via automated email upon completing the membership form. The club treasurer then registers the member with Toastmasters International and Easyspeak (tmclub.eu). The full sign-up process typically takes up to 2 weeks. Club chartered: 1 March 1999. Club Number: 00009867, District 95, Area D02. The club name is a pun on 'Toastmasters', replacing the English word 'toast' with its German equivalent 'prost'. The club has been President's Distinguished 5 times, Select Distinguished twice, and Distinguished twice in the Distinguished Club Programme. Three of the 12 District 59 Governors have been Munich Prostmasters members.
