Toastmasters Beograd
Overview
Toastmasters Beograd is Serbia's first Toastmasters club, chartered on October 7, 2014 (Club No. 03134840, District 110, Area A4), and active as a community since September 2013. As a non-profit affiliated with Toastmasters International, it helps members from all walks of life build confident public speaking and leadership skills in a warm, structured, and supportive environment. Meetings are conducted in English and are open to anyone aged 18 and above — no professional or educational background is required.
Best For
- Professionals seeking to sharpen communication and presentation skills for career advancement
- Students and recent graduates looking to build self-confidence and leadership experience

- Frequency: Weekly, every Saturday
- Duration: Approximately 90–120 minutes (standard Toastmasters session length)

Typical Session Flow
- Arrival / check-in — Guests and members join in person or via Zoom; the Toastmaster of the Day opens the meeting and introduces role-players for the session
- Table Topics (impromptu speaking) — Participants respond to spontaneous questions, practicing the ability to think and speak on their feet; guests may optionally take part in this segment
- Prepared speeches — Members deliver structured speech projects from the Toastmasters Pathways learning program, with each segment timed using a colour-card system (green, yellow, red)
- Evaluations and awards — Dedicated evaluators provide written and oral constructive feedback for each speaker; the General Evaluator reviews the performance of all supporting roles (Timer, Ah Counter, Grammarian); best speech, best Table Topics, and best evaluator awards are presented
- Networking / wrap-up — The meeting closes with informal conversation and community announcements
