Sunday Speaking

Sunday Speaking is a weekly public speaking club in Stockholm, founded in summer 2016. Every Sunday, members work on public speaking skills related to voice, body, and mind. Sessions cover topics such as storytelling, persuasion, vocal tone, and improv theater, with a different topic and volunteer leader each week. A typical 2-hour session is split into 'The Workshop' (exercises, 1st hour) and 'Stage Time' (individual speeches with feedback, debates, improvised group scenes, or storytelling, 2nd hour). All workshops are conducted in English. The club steers clear of politics and divisive topics to maintain a respectful, inclusive environment. With over 3,400 members on Meetup, it is one of Stockholm's largest public speaking communities.

Membership & sessions

First workshop is free for guests. From the second visit, a mandatory contribution of 100 SEK per semester is required (paid via Swish to Claes Palm, 0704407650, with message 'Sunday Speaking Fee'). Contributing members are guaranteed a spot regardless of the waiting list, get access to advanced workshops not published on Meetup, and can see the upcoming workshop schedule.
