Taste and Toastmasters

Taste and Toastmasters is an English-speaking public speaking and leadership club based in Amsterdam, chartered in February 2005. The club meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at Marci Panis (Marcusstraat 46-52, 1091 TK Amsterdam). True to its name, the club serves tasty snacks and drinks at every meeting, creating a relaxed and social atmosphere before the formal programme begins. Members develop communication and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and structured peer feedback. The club uses the Toastmasters International Pathways Learning Experience, a flexible education programme with multiple tracks. Guests are welcome to attend up to 3–4 meetings for free before deciding to join. Online attendance is also available.

Membership & sessions

Guests may attend up to 3–4 meetings for free. To become a member, complete an application form and return it by email. Membership includes Toastmasters International dues of $60 USD per 6-month period (approximately €120/year), plus local club dues — contact the club for the exact current amount. A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies. Online attendance is permitted.
