Afterburners Toastmasters Club

Afterburners Toastmasters Club (Club #6191) is a hybrid public speaking and leadership club located in downtown Fort Worth, TX, part of Toastmasters International District 25. The club meets every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at Tarrant County Plaza and also on Zoom. It is open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions. Members develop communication and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, peer evaluations, and rotating meeting roles in a supportive environment.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no membership restrictions. New members pay a one-time $25 USD new member fee (effective October 1, 2025) plus semiannual Toastmasters International dues of $60 USD per 6-month period. Individual club dues may also apply — contact the club's VP of Membership for details. Guests may attend meetings at no cost.

Services: Prepared speeches, Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Speech evaluations and feedback, Leadership role practice, Pathways learning experience, Mentoring program, Youth Leadership Program, Hybrid meeting attendance (in-person and Zoom), Speech contests, Open house meetings
