Broad Ripple Toastmasters

Broad Ripple Toastmasters (Club #517) is one of Indianapolis's longest-running Toastmasters clubs, chartered on October 1, 1948. The club meets every Tuesday morning at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in the Broad Ripple / Meridian Kessler neighborhood. Members from diverse professional backgrounds — including accountants, lawyers, small business owners, nonprofit directors, and more — gather in a warm, supportive environment to practice public speaking, impromptu speaking, and leadership skills. Guests are welcome to attend for free with no advance notice required.

Membership & sessions

Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (approximately $10/month), paid twice yearly in April and October. A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies upon joining (effective October 1, 2025). Individual club dues may also apply; contact the club for details. Guests may attend meetings for free with no obligation to join.

Services: Prepared speech practice (Pathways educational program), Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Peer speech evaluations and feedback, Leadership role development, Communication skills training, Online meeting attendance via Zoom, Speech contests (district and international levels)
