Bronx Toastmasters Club of Riverdale

Bronx Toastmasters Club of Riverdale (Club #6615, District 46, Area B21) is a Distinguished Toastmasters Club serving the Northwest Bronx since 1999. It is an affiliate of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. The club welcomes guests free of charge and is open to all — from young professionals to experienced managers and those seeking personal growth. Meetings are held in a warm, supportive environment both in-person at Riverdale Neighborhood House and via Zoom.

Membership & sessions

Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (approximately $10/month), billed twice a year in April and October. New members also pay a one-time new member fee of $25 USD (effective October 1, 2025). Dues are prorated at $10/month for members joining mid-period. Guest attendance is free with no obligation to join.

Services: Public speaking practice and coaching, Leadership development, Toastmasters Pathways educational program, Prepared speech presentations, Table Topics (impromptu speaking), Peer speech evaluations, Humorous speech contests, International speech contests, Mentor/Protégé program, Hybrid in-person and Zoom meetings

Meeting schedule: Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:15 PM). Hybrid format: in-person at Riverdale Neighborhood House and online via Zoom.
