West Seattle Toastmasters Club #832

West Seattle Toastmasters Club #832 is a friendly, award-winning public speaking and leadership club founded on April 1, 1950. One of the longest-running Toastmasters clubs in Seattle, it celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2025. The club holds hybrid meetings (in-person at Brookdale West Seattle and via Zoom) on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30–8:00 PM. Members develop communication and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu Table Topics, and structured peer evaluations. The club has earned the President's Distinguished Club award 12 times — the highest recognition in Toastmasters International — and boasts multiple Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) among its members.

Open to all adults aged 18 and older. No membership restrictions. Guests may attend meetings for free. To join, email wstoastmasters832@gmail.com. Membership dues follow Toastmasters International's standard structure: $60 USD per 6-month period (paid semi-annually on April 1 and October 1), plus a one-time new member fee of $25 USD. Additional club-level dues may apply — contact the club for exact amounts. All new members are assigned a mentor.
