Downtown Toronto Toastmasters Club

Downtown Toronto Toastmasters Club (Club #1744) is one of Toronto's longest-running public speaking clubs, chartered in 1955 and serving the downtown Toronto community for over 60 years. The club meets every Wednesday at 12:15 pm via Zoom and is open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions. Members develop public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through a structured, self-paced program that includes prepared speeches, impromptu Table Topics, and peer evaluations.

멤버십 및 세션

Membership is open to all adults with no restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are USD $60 per 6-month period (billed semi-annually in April and October), prorated at USD $10/month for mid-period joiners. A one-time new member fee of USD $25 applies. Additional club-level dues may apply; check the club website for current rates. Guests may attend meetings for free before joining.

Services: Prepared speech practice, Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Peer speech evaluations and feedback, Leadership role practice, Toastmasters Pathways educational program, Communication skills development, Public speaking coaching, Mentorship from experienced speakers, Speech contests (club, area, district levels)
