Public Speaking & Improv Practice Meetup (MacKay Studio)

Public Speaking & Improv Practice is a NYC-based Meetup group organized by Steve L. that helps members improve their public speaking skills and confidence through improv practice. All experience levels are welcome. The group meets at MacKay Studio (330 7th Ave #804, 7th floor) in Midtown Manhattan and runs weekly Friday Improv Jams as well as Sunday Drop-In Improv Classes, both hosted in partnership with the Improv NOW group. Sessions include 2-person scenes, group scenes, short sets, and community shows. The environment is described as totally safe and supportive, welcoming even the most anxious participants.

멤버십 및 세션

No formal membership required. Drop-in attendance model. Friday Improv Jam costs $10 per session; Sunday Drop-In Improv Class costs $15 per session. Payment accepted via cash, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. RSVP via Meetup (meetup.com/nyc-public-speaking-practice or meetup.com/improvnow). No experience necessary.
