UCSD Torrey Pines Speakers (Toastmasters)
UCSD Torrey Pines Speakers is Toastmasters Club #1134519, chartered February 20, 2008, and based at UC San Diego's Atkinson Hall in La Jolla. The club holds weekly hybrid meetings (in-person + Zoom) every Wednesday from 12:00–1:00 PM. It is open to UC San Diego faculty, staff, students, and members of the general community. The club provides a supportive environment for developing public speaking, communication, and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), peer evaluations, and structured leadership roles. Special discounted membership rates are available for both graduate and undergraduate students.
