Flying Turtle Productions (formerly Abbey School of Drama) offers a Public Speaking for Non-Actors course at its central Dublin studio at 27 Pearse Street. The course is suitable for all levels and covers techniques to manage nervous tension, improve vocal resonance, develop dynamic content, and command a room with confidence. Options include a 5-week evening course, a 3-week experienced/improvers level course with video playback, and a one-day Saturday intensive with video feedback. Both live in-studio and Zoom formats are available. Class sizes are strictly limited to 8 students for maximum quality of tuition.

Membership & sessions

€210 per 5-class course. A minimum non-refundable deposit of €100 is due within 3 business days of reservation; remaining balance due two weeks prior to course start. No credit/refund/transfer if a student misses a class.

Membership: 210 EUR / yearly

Meeting schedule: Evening courses run on weekday evenings (Monday or Wednesday, 7:00–9:00pm) as a 5-class series; one class per term is held via Zoom, all others live in studio. A one-day Saturday Intensive option is also offered periodically. Class size is limited to 8 students maximum.

Flying Turtle Productions was established in 2003 by Kathleen Warner Yeates and is the resident performing arts company at the Ireland Institute, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2. Formerly known as the Abbey School of Drama. Also offers acting, screenwriting, improvisation, and drama courses for adults and teens.
