Göteborgs Talarklubb

Göteborgs Talarklubb is Gothenburg's first Swedish-speaking Toastmasters club, chartered in May 2006 and part of Toastmasters International (District 95, Area B03). The club meets every other Monday on odd weeks at Studiefrämjandet, Falkgatan 7, near Redbergsplatsen. Members practice prepared and impromptu speeches, develop leadership skills through meeting roles, and grow through structured peer feedback. Meetings are conducted primarily in Swedish, though members may deliver speeches in English. Guests are always welcome to attend for free.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no prior experience required. Guests always welcome free of charge. Annual membership fee approximately 1,800 SEK for new members (includes one Pathways path and digital Toastmaster magazine); approximately 1,500 SEK per year for renewing members (2023 figures). Membership is open to all interested parties with no restrictions.

Meeting schedule: Every 2nd Monday on odd (uneven) weeks. Mingle from 18:10, meeting runs 18:30–20:00.
