Sandia Sunrisers Toastmasters

Sandia Sunrisers Toastmasters is a Toastmasters club based at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM. The club meets every Tuesday morning at 6:40 AM in a hybrid format (in-person and online). Members develop public speaking and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and peer evaluations. The club is part of Toastmasters District 26, Area C1, and was chartered on September 10, 2009. Note: in-person attendance requires KAFB access for those without a Sandia badge; guests are always welcome. The club may have professional and/or educational prerequisites for membership.

Membership & sessions

Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (renewing members). New members also pay a one-time new member fee of $25 USD (effective October 1, 2025). Dues are paid twice yearly (April 1 and October 1). The club may have professional and/or educational prerequisites for membership — contact the club for details. Guests may attend meetings for free.
