Ballantyne Lunch Toastmasters

Ballantyne Lunch Toastmasters (BLT) is Club No. 1377580, chartered May 3, 2010, and part of Toastmasters International District 37, Area B11. The club meets every Monday from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Uwharrie Bank community room at 5231 Piper Station Dr., Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28277 — right off I-485 Exit 59, across from the Stonecrest Shopping Plaza. Meetings are held in-person and are also available via Zoom (hybrid format). The club has been recognized by Toastmasters International as a Distinguished Performing Club. It caters to professionals seeking to improve public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a positive, encouraging, and fun environment. Guests are always welcome and may attend for free with no obligation to participate.

Membership & sessions

Open to all interested parties (no membership restrictions). Guests may attend meetings for free. To join: one-time new member fee of $25 USD (covers first Pathways path and processing), plus semiannual Toastmasters International dues of $60 USD (paid twice per year in April and October, prorated at $10/month for mid-cycle joiners). Individual clubs may also charge supplementary club dues — contact the club for details.

Services: Prepared speeches (Pathways education program), Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Speech evaluations and constructive feedback, Leadership development and club officer roles, Communication skills training, Mentorship program, Hybrid/Zoom meeting attendance, Participation in District 37 speech contests
