Queen City Toastmasters Club

Queen City Toastmasters is the oldest Toastmasters club in Charlotte, NC, chartered in 1954. It is a local chapter of Toastmasters International — a worldwide nonprofit educational organization present in over 126 countries. The club's mission is to help members build and improve their communication and leadership skills in a positive, supportive environment. Members meet every Tuesday evening for structured practice in public speaking, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), prepared speeches, and peer evaluations. The club is open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions, and guests are always welcome. Queen City Toastmasters is also a sister club to Southpark Toastmasters.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no membership restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (prorated at $10/month for mid-period joiners). A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies (effective October 1, 2025). Individual club dues may also apply.
