Golden Gate Toastmasters Club

Golden Gate Toastmasters (Club #56) is San Francisco's oldest continuously operating Toastmasters club, founded in 1936. Meeting every Wednesday evening in the boardroom of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the club provides weekly public speaking practice, constructive feedback, and leadership development in a supportive, high-energy environment. Open to all — no affiliation required. Guests are always welcome to attend for free.

Membership & sessions

Membership requires a one-time new member fee of $25 USD plus semiannual Toastmasters International dues of $60 USD (paid every 6 months on April 1 and October 1). Individual club dues may also apply. Guests may attend meetings for free with no obligation to join.

Membership: 120 USD / yearly

Meeting schedule: Every Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (in-person). On the first Wednesday of each month, the meeting may end at 7:00 PM for guests due to a club business meeting from 7:00–8:00 PM.
