Phoenix DC Toastmasters Club

Phoenix DC (Club #2226) is a welcoming and supportive Toastmasters community club based in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC. Currently meeting at the Lamond Riggs / Lillian J. Huff Library in the Riggs Park neighborhood. The club encourages speakers of any level to join and grow together as better public speakers and more confident leaders. Membership is open to all — no restrictions apply. Guests are welcome to attend meetings for free before committing.

Membership & sessions

Membership is open to all with no restrictions. Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (paid in April and October). A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies upon joining (effective October 1, 2025), which covers the first Pathways learning path and administrative costs. Individual club dues may also apply — contact club officers for specifics. Guests may attend meetings for free.

Services: Public speaking practice, Pathways learning experience (structured education program with 6 specialized paths), Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Prepared speech delivery and evaluation, Peer feedback and constructive evaluation, Leadership development, Mentoring program, Speech contests, Online/hybrid meeting attendance
