The Toastmasters membership year runs October 1 – September 30. Dues are collected annually by September 30; new members joining mid-year are prorated. As of 2022–2023: Online membership CAD $120/year; In-person membership CAD $375/year. A one-time New Member Kit fee of CAD $25 (Pathways educational program, charged by Toastmasters International) applies to new members if not previously enrolled. The membership fee covers Toastmasters International dues and club operations (meeting-room rental and supplies). Guest visits cost $10 per meeting.
Services: Prepared speeches (Pathways educational program), Table Topics (impromptu speaking), Speech evaluations and constructive feedback, Meeting role practice (Chairperson, Toastmaster, Timer, Evaluator, etc.), Leadership development program, Communication and leadership awards (Competent Communicator, Advanced Communicator), Mentorship for new members, Access to Toastmaster magazine, Hybrid meetings (in-person and online via Microsoft Teams), Public speaking competitions (club-level)
