Budapest Toastmasters

Budapest Toastmasters is the flagship public Toastmasters club in Hungary, open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions. Founded as part of Toastmasters International (club #4133), it offers a mutually supportive and positive learning environment where members develop and practice communication and leadership skills. Meetings are held every Monday evening at Pannon Kincstár in central Budapest, attracting 20–30 attendees on average. Guests are welcome to attend for free before deciding to join.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no professional or educational prerequisites. Guests may attend meetings for free. Members pay Toastmasters International semiannual dues of $60 USD (approx. $10/month), plus a one-time new member fee of $25 USD. Individual club dues may also apply — contact the club for current local rates.

Services: Prepared speeches, Table Topics (impromptu speaking), Speech evaluations and structured feedback, Pathways educational program (online learning paths), Leadership roles and club officer positions, Mentoring program for new members, Speaking contests (club, area, and district levels), Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) officer training, Guest visits (free, no obligation)
