Voice of Blue Toastmasters

Voice of Blue is a Toastmasters club based at the IBM Office in the Corvin Innovation Campus, Budapest. Founded in the summer of 2023 by IBM fellows, the club has grown to 20+ members and is open to non-IBMers, future IBMers, ex-IBMers, and current IBMers alike. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 11:30 AM, both in-person in the IBM auditorium and online via Microsoft Teams. The club conducts sessions in English and Hungarian, focusing on public speaking, speech evaluation, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and leadership development. Members have achieved multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals at Area and Division-level Toastmasters contests. The club also organises themed workshops, joint events with other clubs, and team-building activities.

Membership & sessions

Open to all — no IBM affiliation required. Membership restriction: none. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (April–September and October–March), pro-rated at $10/month for mid-period joiners. A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies. Individual club dues may also apply; contact the club for current local fee details. Guests may attend meetings for free before joining.
