Talking Heads Toastmasters Club

Talking Heads Toastmasters Club (Club #9915) is a Cape Town-based Toastmasters club chartered on 1 June 1995. The club meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at Investec Cape Town, 14 Dock Road, V&A Waterfront. Open to all — students, working professionals, stay-at-home parents, and retirees — the club provides a supportive environment to develop public speaking, communication, and leadership skills. Guests are welcome with no pressure to participate until ready. A R60 contribution fee for snacks and drinks is requested at each meeting.

Membership & sessions

Membership is open to all with no restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (billed semi-annually in April and October), plus a one-time new member joining fee of $20 USD. Members can pay in USD directly to Toastmasters International or in ZAR to the club at the prevailing exchange rate. Guests are welcome to attend meetings before committing; a R60 contribution for snacks and drinks is requested per meeting visit.
