West Austin II Toastmasters

West Austin II Toastmasters (Club #6379) is a long-standing public speaking and leadership club chartered in 1986, located in Austin, Texas. The club meets every Thursday morning at IHOP on Cesar Chavez at IH-35. It is part of Toastmasters International District 55 and is open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions. The club helps people from diverse backgrounds — from young professionals to experienced managers — become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no membership restrictions. Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD (approx. $10/month), paid twice yearly in April and October. New members also pay a one-time $25 USD new member fee. Individual club dues may apply — contact the club for specifics.

Services: Pathways learning experience (6 specialized learning paths), Prepared speeches with peer evaluation, Table Topics (impromptu speaking practice), Leadership role opportunities, Mentoring program, Speech contests (District 55), Communication and leadership development, Guest visits (no pressure to participate)
