Southeast Houston Toastmasters

Southeast Houston Toastmasters (Club #5324194) is a community public speaking and leadership club chartered in June 2016. It helps members from diverse backgrounds become confident speakers, communicators, and leaders through a structured, self-paced educational program. The club meets weekly on Tuesdays at the South Belt Ellington Chamber of Commerce and online. It has earned the Select or President's Distinguished Club designation every year since its inception. Guests are welcome to attend meetings for free with no pressure to participate.

Membership & sessions

Open to all interested parties with no membership restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (prorated at $10/month for mid-period joiners). A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies upon joining. Additional club-level dues may apply — contact the club for details. Guests may attend meetings for free.

Services: Pathways learning experience (self-paced educational program), Prepared speech presentations, Impromptu speaking (Table Topics), Speech evaluation and feedback, Better Speaker Series workshops, Leadership role practice, Educational workshops on communication and leadership

Membership: 120 USD / yearly

Meeting schedule: Weekly on Tuesdays: virtual meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday; hybrid (in-person + online) meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday. No meetings on 5th Tuesdays.
