Century City Toastmasters Club

Century City Toastmasters (CCTM) is one of Los Angeles's most decorated public speaking clubs, chartered on January 1, 1958 as the 2,681st Toastmasters club. Based in West LA at the FamilySearch Library, CCTM holds early-morning weekly meetings on Wednesdays (7:00–8:30 AM PT), alternating between Zoom-only and hybrid formats. The club has earned Toastmasters International's top President's Distinguished Award for over 16 consecutive years and is part of District 1 (Southern California). Members practice prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, and leadership roles, and are paired with experienced mentors from day one. The club is open to all and welcomes guests at every meeting.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no membership restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per 6-month period ($120/year), paid semi-annually in April and October. Additional club-level dues may apply. New members receive a welcome kit and are immediately paired with an experienced mentor. Guests are welcome at all meetings at no cost.

Services: Prepared speeches (Pathways learning program), Impromptu speaking practice (Table Topics), Constructive oral and written feedback, One-on-one mentoring program, Leadership role practice, Advanced communication tracks, Guest visits (no pressure to join)

Membership: 120 USD / yearly
