Portland Progressives Toastmasters (Club #875188) is a Toastmasters club in Portland, Oregon, with the motto 'Progressively Speaking for a Better World.' Founded in 2006 and chartered on November 16, 2006, the club's main purpose is to help progressive activists and leaders conquer their fear of public speaking. It trains progressive thinkers, activists, campaigners, and leaders in communication and leadership skills. Membership & sessions

Dues are collected twice a year. Toastmasters International dues: $10/month ($60 per 6-month period, collected in March for April–September and in September for October–March). Club dues: $1/month ($6 per 6-month period). New Member Fee: $25 (charged by Toastmasters International; the club itself charges no additional new member fee). Members are also asked to contribute $1 per meeting attended toward room rental. New members must complete a membership application form and be voted in by the club membership. Guests may attend meetings for free with no pressure to participate.
