Communication Academy

Communication Academy is a Bay Area enrichment school founded in 2001 that offers after-school classes and camps year-round for students in grades K–12. It was the first to offer public speaking courses in Cupertino, CA, and has since expanded to include Debate, Writing, Reading, and Math. Classes are taught by school teachers, college professors, professional authors, and speech and debate coaches. The academy partners with numerous city recreation departments and schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Membership & sessions

Enrollment is per class or camp session; no annual membership required. Classes are offered in a quarterly system (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). Private group classes require a minimum of 4 students: $65 for the first student, $30 for each additional student, with a minimum of 5 one-hour meetings. A material fee covers student manuals, curriculum development, a Communication Academy bag, and classroom supplies. FSA accounts are accepted by most parents. Registration is available online or by calling (408) 777-8876.

Meeting schedule: Classes run quarterly (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) on weekdays after school and Saturdays. Office hours: Mon–Fri 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM–12:30 PM. Summer and holiday week camps also available. Online courses offered year-round for ages 6–14.
