Enlighten Enrichment School – Public Speaking Camp
Enlighten Enrichment School is a well-established after-school and summer camp program for elementary school students (ages 5–12) in the Los Gatos, Campbell, San Jose Cambrian, and Almaden districts. The Public Speaking Camp is offered as part of the school's summer Exploration Camp track and as an enrichment class. Workshops are designed for students who wish to improve their communication skills without entering competition. Each session covers particular aspects of public speaking, including Spontaneous Speaking, Platform Speaking, and Interpretive Speaking, with specific practicum, drills, and exercises accompanying each session. The camp is led by Win Heggem, founder of Winsome Speaking, a teacher and coach with more than 35 years of experience. The school also offers a Speech & Debate class during the regular school year.
