Parramatta Toastmasters Club

Parramatta Toastmasters Club is one of the largest and most successful Toastmasters clubs in the world, meeting in Parramatta, Sydney, Australia.

With over 50 years of history and a membership of over 40, the club provides training in public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a supportive dinner-meeting environment at Rydges Parramatta.

Services & Programs

  • Speechcraft – Four short courses per year (confidence-building introductions to public speaking, open to non-members)
  • Pathways – Toastmasters International's customised self-paced learning program
  • Table Topics – Impromptu speaking practice at every meeting
  • Speech Contests – Humorous Speech, International Speech, Evaluation, and Table Topics contests
  • Youth Leadership – Programs conducted in local high schools
  • The Australasian Chairman – A booklet on meeting procedure published by the club, available for general sale

Membership

Ongoing membership fee is equivalent to under $4 per week, paid 6-monthly. A joining fee applies for new members. As a dinner-meeting club, members are expected to order a meal at meetings.

Meetings

1st, 3rd and 5th Thursdays of each month at Rydges Parramatta, Rosehill. Pre-meeting from 6:00pm; formal start at 6:30pm.

Membership & sessions
