Speakmasters Toastmasters (University of Calgary)

Speakmasters is a Toastmasters International club (Club #7318, District 42, Area E6) based at the University of Calgary, chartered in March 1989. It is a Students' Union club open to students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. Meetings follow the structured Toastmasters format: prepared speeches, Table Topics (impromptu speaking), and constructive speech evaluations. Guests are always welcome to attend for free with no pressure to participate.

Membership & sessions

Open to all — no membership restriction. Guests may attend meetings for free. Members pay Toastmasters International dues of USD $60 per 6-month period (billed semi-annually in April and October), plus any local club dues. A one-time new member fee may apply.
