River City Speakers Club

River City Speakers Club is a community-based Toastmasters International club (Club #00009833, District 39, Area H82) chartered on May 23, 1994, in Sacramento, CA. It is one of the most decorated clubs in the region, having earned Presidents Distinguished status for over 13 consecutive years and achieving Legacy Club status — one of only two clubs in the area to do so. Members have twice won the District 39 International Speech Contest and represented District 39 at the Toastmasters Region I competition. The club has also sponsored and mentored three new clubs: Cannery Park Orators, New Beginnings, and Serna Masters. Guests are welcome to attend meetings for free with no pressure to participate.

Membership & sessions

Open to all — no membership restrictions. Guests may attend meetings for free. Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (renewal periods: April 1 and October 1). New members pay a one-time $25 USD new member fee in addition to prorated dues. Individual clubs may also charge additional local club dues. Contact the club for current local dues details.
