Club Toastmasters YWCA Québec

Club Toastmasters YWCA Québec is the only French-language, women-only Toastmasters club in the Québec City area. Affiliated with Toastmasters International (Club #01377570, chartered December 7, 2010) and hosted at YWCA Québec, the club provides a warm, collaborative environment for women to develop their communication and leadership skills at their own pace. Meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in a hybrid format (alternating in-person at YWCA and online via Zoom). The club follows the Toastmasters Pathways educational program and uses a co-training and peer-mentorship approach — there is no instructor. Members take on various speaking roles each week (prepared speeches, Table Topics, evaluations, toastmaster of the evening, etc.). The club is accredited as a recognized educational institution by the governments of Québec and Canada, making members eligible for a tuition tax credit.
