Career Builders Toastmasters

Career Builders Toastmasters is a nonprofit public speaking and leadership club based in the Bankers Hill neighborhood of San Diego. Chartered in January 1997 and part of Toastmasters International District 5 (Area 12, Southern Division), the club meets every Monday evening at St. Paul's Conference Center. Members practice prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and give and receive structured feedback. The club motto is 'We're here to practice, not perform,' reflecting a friendly, supportive environment open to all adults 18+. Guests may attend as many meetings as they like before deciding to join.

Membership & sessions

One-time new member fee of $25 (includes Toastmasters new member kit and access to the Pathways curriculum). Semi-annual club dues are $85 (paid in April and September), equating to $170/year. Initial dues may be prorated based on join date. Membership is open to all interested parties aged 18+. No other charges apply.
