Northeast Seattle Toastmasters Club

Northeast Seattle Toastmasters (Club #1161, chartered October 1, 1952) is a welcoming public speaking and leadership club meeting every Monday evening in the Green Lake / Northeast Seattle area. The club supports entrepreneurs, personal projects, and work projects, and welcomes novice through experienced speakers. Visitors are always welcome at no charge.

Membership & sessions

New members pay a one-time $25 USD new member fee (covers first Pathways path and administrative processing) plus $60 USD semiannual Toastmasters International dues (prorated at $10/month if joining mid-period). Renewal dues of $60 USD are due twice yearly (April 1 and October 1). Individual club dues may also apply — contact a club officer for details. Membership is open to all; no restrictions.

Services: Prepared speeches (Pathways learning program), Table Topics (impromptu speaking practice), Peer speech evaluations and feedback, Leadership role practice (Toastmaster of the Day, Timer, Grammarian, etc.), Mentor/Protégé program, Hybrid and in-person meeting attendance, Support for entrepreneurs and personal/work projects, Access to Toastmasters International Pathways online curriculum (300+ competencies across 6 learning, Speech contests (club, area, district levels)

Meeting schedule: Every Monday, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM (in-person and hybrid/online). Arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first meeting.
