Wallingford Toastmasters

Wallingford Toastmasters (Club #252) is a long-established public speaking and leadership development club in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, founded in 1960. It is a supportive, growth-oriented community for people committed to improving their public speaking, leadership, and personal growth. Meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays from noon to 1 PM in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). Attendance typically ranges from 10 to 20 members and guests. Each meeting includes prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and structured feedback. Prospective members complete a brief interview to ensure the club is the right fit.

Membership & sessions

Open to all interested parties (no membership restriction). Prospective members complete a brief interview before joining. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per six-month period (renewed in April and October), plus a one-time new member fee of $25 USD. Individual clubs may also charge supplementary club dues.
