Seattle General Toastmasters Club

Seattle General Toastmasters (Club #277) is a diverse, welcoming public speaking club of approximately 30 members that meets every Thursday morning at The Swedish Club near Lake Union in Seattle. The club is open to all — from first-time speakers to experienced presenters — and follows the Toastmasters International Pathways educational program. Guests may attend at no cost and without pressure to participate. Members develop communication and leadership skills through prepared speeches, impromptu speaking exercises (Table Topics), peer evaluations, and various meeting roles.

Membership & sessions

Membership is open to all with no restrictions. Toastmasters International dues are $60 USD per six-month period (April–September and October–March), prorated at $10/month for mid-period joiners. A one-time new member fee of $25 USD applies. To join, ask any club officer for a membership application form at a meeting.
