FCCJ Toastmasters Club
FCCJ Toastmasters Club (Club #01362687) is an English-language public speaking club in Shibuya, Tokyo, part of Toastmasters International District 76. FCCJ stands for 'Friendly Competent Communicators Japan.' The club meets every 2nd and 4th Monday at lunchtime at the Sendagaya Community Center (a 2024 building designed by architect Kengo Kuma), 7 minutes' walk from Harajuku Station. Members from diverse nationalities and professions — pilots, bankers, teachers, musicians and more — practice prepared speeches, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and give and receive structured evaluations. Guests are welcome to attend up to three meetings for free before deciding to join.
