Sunrise Toastmasters Club

Sunrise Toastmasters Club is a friendly, relaxed English-language public speaking and leadership development club located in Bunkyo, Tokyo. Part of Toastmasters International (Club #967512, District 76 – Japan), it welcomes members from diverse nationalities, ages, and professional backgrounds — from business professionals to students. Meetings are warm, cheerful, and full of humor, held on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday evenings at Bunkyo Civic Center, with online attendance also available. Guests are always welcome to attend for free.

Membership & sessions

Open to all; no membership restrictions. Toastmasters International semiannual dues are $60 USD per 6-month period (due April 1 and October 1), plus a one-time $25 USD new member fee. Individual club dues may apply in addition — contact the club for current local rates. Guests may attend meetings for free.

Services: Prepared speeches (Toastmasters Pathways program), Table Topics (impromptu speaking), Speech evaluations and peer feedback, Leadership development and meeting roles, District 76 (Japan) speech contest participation, Mentoring program, Annual social events and summer camp, Hybrid meetings (in-person and Zoom)
